The colours aren’t overly saturated, but they aren’t muted either. The shapes are sharp, but not so much that they’re harsh and unrelatable https://cemuwii.com/.
It’s an incredibly beautiful game to look at, and more importantly, it’s true beauty comes from how it portrays its characters. Everyone in Possum Springs is presented as an anthropomorphic animal of some kind. Cats, dogs, bears, mice, birds and whatever Bea is supposed to be. Cats, dogs, bears, mice, birds and whatever Bea is supposed to be. And it’s not because they are indeed cats and dogs and so on. There are clearly other living creatures in this world that act as animals in our world do. The residents of this town are presented this way because it allows us - the audience, to connect immediately to them. If you’ve ever read Scott McCloud’s “Understanding Comics”, you’ll be familiar with this page where he explains how the simpler you make a face, the easier it is to relate. In fact, we use similar imagery everyday in our communications. Emoticons & emojis are just representations of our feelings. When someone sends a smiling face with their message, we associate their face smiling with it. The more complex that you draw a face, the less then we can relate to it, and place ourselves within it. In the case of this particular game, each character has a relatively unique face. None of the faces are distinctly human, however the basic shapes manipulated in certain ways allow the characters to express emotions that we can understand, just like with emojis. The other benefit of using non-human faces, is that we as the audience can’t associate any preconceived characteristics, stereotypes or ideologies on them. Looking at these characters, we can’t tell their race, gender or sexual orientation. Things that when we look at anyone, whatever stereotypes, conscious or unconscious, are present and how we act towards them. We all act differently towards different people in different ways and as much as we’d like to tell ourselves that we treat each other equally, we don’t. Night In The Woods allows us to get around this and take each of these characters as they are without prejudice and let their words and actions define themselves. The characters in this game are relatable, with more than just one dimensional representations of different mental health problems. They and their conversations are the soul and driving force behind everything in this game. With the core mechanics in this game being walking and talking, Even the core plot takes a back seat for the first few hours in order for the player to take in the world and start placing themselves inside of it. Immersion is, in my personal opinion, the primary indicator of success for a game. Even though high fidelity graphics and sound are a selling point, players still gravitate to games like: Counter-Strike, League of Legends and World of Warcraft, whose visuals are simple enough to work on low-end hardware. And on the other hand, even gameplay isn’t the primary factor either, as games like Night In The Woods and Firewatch have very few mechanics that could just play themselves. South Africa Online Casino Games right here! Best online gambling website in South Africa. However, games that let the player be in them, to immerse them are what we as the gaming audience gravitate to Whether it’s a walking simulator, action RPG or military shooter, immersion is key. And I’ve found that maybe immersion is something that can help people suffering from depression. I’d recommend watching a video by Writing On Games, where Hamish Black discusses how Dark Souls helped him cope with suicidal depression. His personal story of playing the game, which by all accounts appears to be an antithesis of joy, was actually something that helped him. Discovering that the game’s mechanics and challenge was actually a celebration of life. Through interviews with friends and strangers online, I found in particular one story from a friend that grabbed my attention. He’s been suffering from clinical depression for well over a year, dropping out from college and struggling to find his feet and what to do. However, one thing he enjoys the most is playing Dark Souls III. In fact all the footage of Dark Souls III on my channel has been provided by him When asked about why he perseveres in Dark Souls but not real life, he said; “You know there’s a goal, and your progress, even though it’s slow, you can see that you’re moving forward. Dodging and fighting and beating a boss feels great. Failing in Dark Souls feels like learning. ” Personally, I wouldn’t agree. Failing over and over again gives me an anxiety that paralyzes me, but I can understand why he feels that way. Regardless of how difficult and challenging a game like Dark Souls may be, my friend, and many others like him, find it a lot easier to deal with than the real world.

If you enjoy an online FPS game, You owe a lot of that enjoyment, all the way back to quake in 1996. Why haven't we gotten another star wars, flight simulator game yet Come on answer me this at number 26 We have Star wars tie fighter. These were amazing http://oncasinogames.com/instadebit-casinos/.
Star wars tie fighter was part of the x-wing series, But allows you to take control the empire instead of the rebellion giving you a brand new perspective on the galactic war, with new ships, Deeper mechanics and improved visuals. This game was the closest we ever felt to piloting our own star wars, ship and, honestly, Honestly, no game to date has even come close to what star wars tie fighter had to offer back in 94 At number 25, we have Mario Kart 64, while Mario kart 64, wasn't the first game in the series. It definitely is the one that made the series honestly, it did up until this point. The Mario Kart games were very simple, but still fun. However, when Mario Kart 64 was released in 96, Everything changed new items, tons of courses, awesome, 3D, graphics and gameplay that paved the way for future titles. If you've never played Mario Kart 64 Go get it. It is pretty much on every nintendo virtual console. So you definitely have access to it and you won't regret it. At Number 24, we have castlevania symphony of the night, One of the most, unfortunately forgotten franchises in gaming history as castlevania, although It does have a Netflix series coming out. I believe: release for the PS1 in 97. Symphony of the night was the first in the series to feature Nonlinear level design and had tons of hidden secrets. Many gamers even got so far to say that Symphony of the night is the most secret filled game of all time. The best game in the series and one of the best games for PS1 Symphony of the night definitely deserves a spot on this list. The title that put epic games on the map is our 23rd entry. Today, in the form of Unreal tournament, we redefined online shooters and it was it was amazing. It was released in 99 and blew people's minds. Great graphics, awesome, weapons, Fast, paced Arena, gameplay, improving on just about every aspect of the FPS standards that quake had established. Just three years earlier, unreal Definitely earned its spot in Gaming history, thanks to the excellent map design and the perfection of the first unreal engine, which we've seen Updated time and time and time again over the years and we've seen it used a ton in modern gaming. I think this is safe to say one of the best series of all time number 22 Metal gear solid with the first game, released all the way back in 98 for the PC and PS1 Cano Mia seriously changed the game and redefined the stealth Genre, Which was A draw and row that really flew under the radar in Mainstream gaming metal Gear, solid, was insanely innovative with its new mechanics, Gameplay software capabilities and Excellent level design. Metal gear, solid, was really the first truly cinematic game, as the developers wanted it to seem like you Were playing a movie and they did they Captured it man. I have some history with this one at number, 21 Starcraft is kind of part Part of the origination story of my original name. Chaos x, Alan sir, after warcraft 2, was released. Work on a new project Began over at Blizzard studios. This Sci-Fi rTS took many of the Elements gamers loved about warcraft and Expanded on them to make them fit in a new setting with a new cast of characters, news story and one of the deepest rtS games ever released. Starcraft hit the Shelves in 98. It was the best-selling PC Game of that year. I'M running a two hundred dollar Amazon gift card, the entire month of july. You guys, let me know turn on those notifications turn that bell long check the box. Never miss a new gaming, top 10 upload and let's go. We'Ve got a long ways to go. We'Re going to be counting down from 30 kicking off this list. We have sonic the hedgehog and the introduction of the blue Speedster. The first game was a massive success. Winning insanely fast Platforming, with a cool ring mechanic in place of health and not to mention the soundtrack, was pretty awesome Seriously. The original Sonic games have arguably the best soundtracks ever to grace the sega Genesis. This totally could have been higher. I know at number 29. We have Duke Nukem 3D, It's time to kick ass and chew, bubblegum, my friends and I'm all out of gum Hands down the best Duke Nukem game ever this was what everyone was hoping Duke. Nukem forever was going to be like Basically a doom clone with an extra element of hilarious writing and ludicrous situation. Duke Nukem 3D Definitely pushed the line of what some said could be done in a video game. Girl'S gore and countless profanities made this game totally awesome. At number 28 We have warcraft two tides of darkness. A lot of people forget That before there was a world of warcraft, the series was simply called Warcraft well. Warcraft 2 was one that put the series on the map. It'S pretty much single-handedly responsible for birthing wow. A few years later, Warcraft 2 was an rTS game set in a fantasy world that drew millions of PC players in and made the series popular enough to experiment with an mmO, and you all know how that ended up at Number 27. We have quake. While many point to doom being the game that laid out how Fps games were meant to be played, Quake is the game that showed how FPS games were meant to be. Online. Quake was insane developed by the same team as doom quake was rendered, with full 3D visuals, Allowing for a deeper gameplay and more detailed maps. Either people are imagining things or Microsoft and NASA have some explaining to do. Next up at number 3, we have Killswitch. This game is just straight up creepy - if it does actually exist. You see, back in 1989, this game was released in which the player had the choice of playing either a Ghast or Porto.
It was nearly impossible to play as Ghast as he was invincible which meant that almost everyone chose Porto. Items you've found appear at the bottom of the screen. You find pieces of a tape recorder and could listen to events that transformed the mine you're in into the hell that it became. The game was very, hollow, empty, confusing and just creepy all around - but the weirdest part is yet to come. The story goes that if anyone does complete the game, Killswitch is designed to self-terminate. It deletes all traces of itself on the person's computer. This is bad news because only a reported 5000 copies were ever made. This continued to happen until every last copy was wiped and the company who made the game vanished from existence. A small community of people are trying to replicate the game based on the stories they've heard, but its slow work and many feel it's not worth the trouble it could ultimately bring … Moving on to number 2 now we have Herobrine. Any of you who have played Minecraft will surely have heard of this character. When you first play the game, you'll have the ordinary standard skin. One day, early in the history of the game, a player said he spawned a new world. He was playing as normal, mining and building when he saw something moving among the dense fog. He thought it was a cow and so chased it. It wasn't though, staring back at him was a character that had the default skin, but his eyes were empty. There was no name above his head, he double checked to make sure he wasn't in a multiplayer mode. The character quickly ran off and disappeared. As the game went on, strange things kept happening, parts of the game looked like someone had been there before, even though this was single player. Every once in a while, he claimed to see the strange doppelganger, watching from the fog. After posting this story to the forums, he received a message from a user called Herobrine. It simply said stop. Eventually, he and some others found that Herborine was the name of a Swedish player, possibly the brother of Notch who is Minecraft creator. They asked Notch if he had a brother, he replied -I did, but he is no longer with us- … thus, the legend was spawned of the creator's dead brother living on in the games coding. Watching players. Watching every player. Unaware of the afterlife he's ended up in. And finally, at number 1 we have Berzerk. This was a very popular arcade game first released back in 1980 and was a great success and highly addictive. However, it will always be remembered as the first game to be linked to the deaths of some its players - 3 to be precise. The first was said to be Jeff Dailey, he allegedly entered his initials twice in the Berzerk machines top 10 players list before dying of a heart attack. His score was 16,660, people said if you remove the binary numbers of 1 and 0, you get 666. The next victim was Jeffs friend, a guy called Peter Burkowski. According to the arcade owner where the machine was housed, Peter arrived and began Berzerk at 8:30 pm. He was a top student who hoped to become a doctor - he was also very good at arcade games. After 15 minutes of playing, he posted his initials next to two high scored on the leaderboard. He then took four steps away, put a quarter into a different game and then collapsed dead from a heart attack. The third death was said to happen to a guy who got into a fight over a quarter that was put into the Berzerk machine. He was stabbed to death. Of course, people began to connect the dots and become convinced that this arcade machine had something to do with it. Its rare that a kid dies during or just after playing any video game - but 3 all connected to the same one? You can see why the legend of Berzerk has persisted … Aaaaand breath. Were safe now. Well, I loved that, like I said at the start, that was a combination of two of my favorite things in the world. Why don't we combine urban legends with another topic for our next video? Did anyone get some suggestions? Let's just make sure it's scary. Thanks for watching as always guys, my name is Danny Burke and Ill see you all in the next video. Professor Yang Jun-sok from the Catholic University of Korea... joins us in the studio today. So good to see you.
Happy to be here. 1- So the government made an official announcement on Monday.... in regards to cryptocurrencies and how it plans to regulate them. How would *you assess yesterday's announcement? Now last week... Justice Minister Park Sang-ki said... the government was preparing a bill to ban the trading of virtual currency on domestic exchanges,... which threw the virtual coin market into turmoil. And before we go on, let's listen to what he said. (SOUNDBITE) "A shutdown of exchanges would be one of the goals we are aiming for. It has started to resemble gambling and speculation. The term "virtual currency" may not even be the right term. We would rather call it "a virtual token." 2- So the Justice Minister's remarks sent bitcoin prices plummeting. But after the market's sharp reaction to Park's remarks.... the Presidential office said hours later.... that a ban on the country's virtual currency exchanges had not yet been finalized. 3- The government had said that the fact the media is using the phrase 'Kimchi premium' reflects foreigners' assessment that the Korean market is (QUOTE-UNQUOTE) "abnormal." What's the situation like right now? 4- How are other countries dealing with digital currencies? So the government has vowed special measures to clamp down on the overheated cryptocurrency market,... but said plans to ban the trading of virtual money aren't in the pipeline yet. Let's take a listen to Jung Ki-joon... the head of the Office for Government Policy Coordination's Economic Policy Coordination Office on the matter. (SOUNDBITE) "The government will push forward with the implementation of a real-name system for cryptocurrency transactions. At the same time, the government will crack down on illegal activities involving virtual money, including market manipulation, money laundering and tax evasion, through joint probes by the prosecution and police." "The government will decide on a proposed shutdown of virtual currency exchanges after carrying out sufficient consultations with the related agencies." 5- So the government is going to keep pushing for real-name transactions and other anti-speculation measures as well as ordering banks to implement the new system as planned. Then what are some of the changes that we can expect in regards to virtual currency trading from here on out? 6- And this new system would also allow for the establishment of a taxation plan for virtual currency transactions, right? 7- The government's announcement during yesterday's press briefing backpedaled on Justice Minister Park's remarks last week on government plans to ban cryptocurrency trading. What's your outlook on this front? 8- But then there are calls for the government to come up with long-term measures to effectively regulate cryptocurrencies and stabilize the market. 9- With all the ongoing controversies surrounding the domestic cryptocurrency market... what's your take on it? In what ways should the government tackle the problems affecting cryptocurrencies? Thank you for your insight today professor. My pleasure. The mark 3 saw a redesigned in lieu of its North American launch in 1986. Under the name Master System, the console was unique as it could play games using the format called the Sagan card, along with the standard ROM cartridges that people knew something stick it has standardized with the sg-1000 to the cards were quite a bit cheaper to manufacture, became With a file size limitation of 32 kilobytes from 1986 through 87 15 games would release worldwide. Using this card format, Sega would have banned in this format, but would continue to support the Master System using the wrong cartridge until 1989 in the North American region. The card format was developed by Hudson as the B card for use on the MSX computers in Japan. If you think these look familiar, it's because NEC along with Hudson soft, would further develop these into the hue card as a distribution medium for the PC. This format would remain in use from 1987 until 93, with a lot of highly desirable games being released on the system.
The standard, ROM cart was originally available, with only one name: source capacity. The two in four make sizes were available shortly after launch, with 8 Meg's becoming available late into the consoles life. It wasn't common for games to utilize this amount of space, but some titles that did include Virtua, Fighter animation and Street Fighter https://casinoslots-sa.co.za/ . For the most part. The package remained the same for all US releases from the time the system debuted until it ceased being sold in North America. The iconic white grid covered the background with a pitcher in the foreground. White was chosen for the background simply because Nintendo was using black, while the grid system was an inspiration taken from Apple computers. The games came in clamshell cases, including any additional content that developer deemed appropriate, such as posters manuals and registration cards. The main difference came from Sega's two-year partnership with Tonka. These games had a splash mark in the corner, declaring what genre they fit into best Sega was struggling to find its footing and the lack of games wasn't helping. This was primarily due to the extremely restrictive licensing agreement and tender required of developers. Publishing games on the NES as 1987 came to a close Nintendo had nearly 90 % of the market share and it appeared to be growing. While we had gotten into all the retailers they did, we simply did not have the resources to compete against Nintendo's, huge marketing budget, and the decision was made to look for a partner. We hooked up with Tonka and they took over the distribution and put a tremendous amount of money into marketing dollars they put in over 30 million into marketing. The partnership seemed like a great idea, considering Takas massive market presence in the toy industry. Unfortunately, during this time, nearly all the infrastructure Lowery had built was shut down as talked to control and operations were moved to Minnesota sales started off strong, but Bruce Lowrey and Bob Harris ultimately resigned over their dissatisfaction with the way things have played out. Lowery returned to Nintendo, well master system sales stagnated with Tonka falling into the financial hardship, but a strain on their relationship with Saiga negotiations were entered to mutually terminate their partnership in 1989, with Saiga taking back distribution rights for North America in 1990. Second, tonka would mutually terminate their partnership in 1989 Saiga, who had since shelved the master system to focus on their next console would take back distribution rights for North America. In 1990, asked off of the original Master System completed. A redesign called the master system was released in 1990. It was marketed as a budget console in an effort to reduce cost. Some of the features were not carried over, including support for the 3d glasses and the removal of the card slot by 1992. The Master System would cease to be sold in North America. In the end, the Master System would be considered a success dominating the European and Brazilian markets, while struggling to find a foothold in North America and Japan. In an amazing twist of events, the system remains so popular in Brazil that is still being manufactured and supported there to this day, making it the longest active console in the world join me in part 3 of this multi-part series, as we explore the genesis, NS unique Game formats. I know how much you guys like those driving away shots that I do. Switched it up on you this time. Arrival shot, huh? So you can't be like Andrew, you forgot your camera on the roof over there! You drove away without your camera!
What are you going to say this time? First on the waiting list for the 2/5. Should be first up. Shouldn't be too long. We're going to keep it a short session today, because there's one or two things to chat about afterwards, so usual drill. In for $1000. 2/5 no limit Texas Hold'em. Alright, so that ended up being even shorter of a session then I was expecting it to be, because the game broke. Played five handed for a little bit there. Almost exactly nothing to report. Lost $135. I even had a one hand, and opened on the BTN. Raised to $15. SB just ships all-in there! Just jams it all in for $65. I called, and uh Scoop that. Scoop that huge pot, but then there was like five other hands where I flopped middle pair. Called a C-Bet. Have to fold later on. Something like that, and yeah, lose $135, but going to move on. Going to go over to the Bellagio and go check out the 5/10 games. I pretty much always uses the valet, but I really wanted to get that elevator to elevator shot, so self park today. The little things in life, you know? As you can tell, it's now light outside. It's daylight. We are no longer at the Bellagio. We're back in my apartment, and It's the next day. It's the day after what you just saw which is Tuesday. Previous day was Monday. So there's a couple things I want to discuss. We're definitely gonna go over a couple hands, but there's something. There's a question that keeps coming up in the comments, and it's in reference to something that I keep talking about in the videos, which is the topic of game selection, and what I usually say is "Such and such game Didn't look that great." or "I'm going to keep my eye on the other stakes and see how they look. See how those games look." "This game looks good. This other game doesn't look that good." and the question that always comes up is what criteria do you use to decide whether a game looks good, or doesn't look good? They say, obviously when you're playing in Vegas at your normal game, you know you'll obviously recognize a lot of the regular players, and it's easier, but when you're on the road you don't know anybody, so what do you look for Casinoslots? I can give you a list of things that I generally look for, and that helps a little bit, so there's some good signs, and there's some bad signs, so if everybody at the table is wearing headphones or earbuds, watching something on their phone, or their iPad, they're watching a movie, but there's not a lot of conversation happening at the table, and everyone's just kind of quietly grinding, and passing the time, it appears. Not a good sign. Obviously you want people playing hands, and getting in there and, gambling. Other things are pretty obvious, like you want some cocktails. Those are a good sign. People have some cocktails on the table. Something that might not be so obvious, and something that you kind of have to be on the lookout for in your game. It's not just up, front, and center. You want to have people playing lots of hands, and as a result, seeing lots of flops. A game that's generally good, is a game that people are playing wide ranges, right? so if people are playing wide ranges, they aren't just sitting around getting it up, so what happens when people are playing wide ranges? Well you'll probably see a lot more limping, because the hands that they're coming into the pots with generally aren't as strong, and therefore, a lot of limping might be a good sign that it's a pretty good game, and people are playing wide ranges, and a lot of times people will even call with these hands to a raise, so if you're seeing a lot of limping, a lot of calling, and you're getting a lot of flops that are going Multi-Way, It's pretty straightforward, right? It tends to make sense. If people are playing wide ranges, that's going to be a good game. If you have a bunch of people that are just getting it up, waiting for Aces, and Kings, there's not going to be too many Multi-Way flops, because That's the only hands that those people are playing, so that's pretty much it. There's no real science to it, I guess, aside from determining how people playing wide ranges of effects Poker Hands in Multi-Way pots, you just generally want a social atmosphere. You want things that go along with that social atmosphere such as chatting, and occasional beverages, and you want people in there gambling. So is it entirely up to these people to provide that for you as a professional? no, I mean, I think as a salesperson, as I tend to think poker players Generally are, I think there's lots of things you can do to encourage that sort of environment. Engage people in conversations. Start conversations. Have a beer if you see someone Having a beer. Not saying you have to start doing shots, and, you know, really indulging, but just be social, and my personal favorite, don't be afraid to put that straddle on. I know a lot of poker players shun the idea of the straddle. It's negative EV and all that stuff. It might be, but if we can turn a somewhat boring game into a somewhat good game. I think it's worth it, so things to consider. So, this really applies actually to the game at the Bellagio last night. The must move game was decent, and then the main game that I got moved into was well below decent. I was actually the only player at the table playing nine handed, I'm the only player at the table of not wearing headphones or earbuds, and half the table was watching something on their phone or iPad. Fairly miserable, and why? Why would I say there? That's a good question. I don't know. I don't know why I stayed there. I did though. I stayed there, and actually the game got much better later on. That tends to happens sometimes. Sometimes the game will be so bad that it will just implode on itself, and it'll end up becoming much better, but I don't know. A lot of times, it's not worth waiting to find out if that's going to happen, and it's a really bad sign when literally every other person at the table is listening or watching to something, and just obviously not that interested in doing some gambling, but you're about to find out that that's kind of a theme of my session from last night is mistakes, and I think mistake number one for me was just not picking up, and sticking through. Deciding to play through this game. Not really sure why. Sometimes I just feel like the option, I guess, I feel like the options are a little bit limited sometimes in Las Vegas, and I know the game selection for 5/10 and above isn't going to be super ideal, so maybe I just get stubborn sometimes, and just decide to play through it, but that kind of sets the scene for the evening, so let's get into hands here. All right, I got to go inside because even though this is gorgeous, right now, every day, around this time, there is a parade of helicopters that come back from the Grand Canyon, and they have this sunset. This magical sunset return to the strip. Which is actually, must be super beautiful, but it doesn't exactly make for good recording. Okay, so one more thing about that whole salesperson analogy for the poker playing game selecting thing. So, I've listened to a lot of Gary Vaynerchuk lately, and if you don't listen to him, I highly recommend you do. Chris Walas picked up an Oscar for his special effects in David Cronenberg’s The Fly remake, but he had never directed a film in his life and on his first attempt he had to compete against one of the greatest sci-fi directors of all time. After The Fly 2 arrived, Chris Walas directed an episode of Tales from the Crypt which was quite fairly received and then he returned with The Vagrant (1992) which was a complete disaster area and since this time he has not directed anything further; his special effect appearances have also been low key. To be honest, I think the poor reactions to The Fly 2 really knocked the stuffing out of Chris Walas.
Was it really that bad though? With an Oscar to boot from the remake, Walas really had a chance to shine here. I write my essay to admit, it psychically pains me to view some of the ratings that The Fly 2 has picked up on the big movie sites. I believe that the Rotten Tomatoes rating stands around 27% fresh and on IMDB the general public today rate this film at 4.4/10! I mean come on, it was a fairly decent sequel… what’s the problem? I think I may know the answer to this! Firstly, the critics will always review a sequel in contrast to its predecessor and Chris Walas made the mistake of imitating a great deal of the running themes of the remake. The gore, the romance, the transformation… everything felt copied, without the same passion or raw energy that Cronenberg fused. Many people were angry regarding the mutant dog and the gore was pretty intense when it wanted to be. They needed an actor as refined as Goldblum as well and this just didn’t happen. |
